A Message from The Tribute Event Coordinator

One of the most asked questions I get as the Event Coordinator for The Tribute is …”Do you work for the Homeowners Association or the Developer?” I think it’s important to outline the vision behind hiring an Event Coordinator and explain what my mission is here. It says SO MUCH about the long term goals here in this great community!

Matthews Southwest- The developer of The Tribute- brought me on board because of their core belief that we are not just developing and selling lots, but we are building a community and a lifestyle!!

We are in the early stages of building out this great community, and are so very thankful for everyone who has chosen to call The Tribute home. We are so excited everyday to watch the houses popping up and to meet the fun neighbors who are moving into them.

We are committed to making this a place that you are proud to call home, with neighbors who know each other by name, watch out for each others best interest…where the kids can grow up together, and each family can feel a part of something great!!

For 5 years I worked for a custom home builder and have worked in many different communities, but none of them even came close to this!! I was blown away to learn about the mission and vision that Matthews Southwest has for The Tribute & so excited to come on board to be a part of it.

I so appreciate all of the “thank you’s” I get from the homeowners but truly this all comes straight from the commitment of the developer!! This community is a wonderful place to live and we are working everyday to make it even better.

Here are some of the fun we have shared so far…

Taken a field trip to the American Airlines Center for a tour by Donnie Nelson (partner in the development & future homeowner),
Enjoyed 2 happy hours at a model home
Celebrated St. Patty’s Day with a private wine tasting,
Being invited to an All Star Weekend private party with Erykah Badu and Jamie Foxx
Learned to salsa, cha cha, foxtrot and others at our private dance lessons (every other week),
Getting toned up in our yoga classes every Saturday morning
And celebrated an EPIC Easter Egg Hunt this last weekend.

Tribute Development in The Colony Going Green

The developers of the Tribute, a 1,150-acre residential and golf development in The Colony, have formed a green alliance with their seven partners — from golf course designers to homebuilders — to minimize the environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.
