The Tribute celebrates Grand Opening of Shoreline Nature Trail

(The Colony, TX) Matthews Southwest announced today that Meritage Homes has acquired 55 acres of land in The Tribute Lakeside Golf & Resort located in The Colony, Texas. Meritage plans to develop 178 homesites over the next three years in The Tribute’s newest neighborhood, called Stonehaven, just south of Lebanon at Boyd Road.

Meritage will introduce two new collections of homes in the community that will bring together old world architecture and wide-open contemporary living spaces.

Our extreme energy-efficient homes reflect our concern for the environment and its resources, which is in perfect alignment with The Tribute. Our Stonehaven site is surrounded on three sides by open space and waterways and will allow us to offer many premium homesites. We couldn’t be more excited about being a part of The Tribute family!”

English Tudor, French Eclectic, English Cottage, and European Eclectic styles will be featured. The homes have been designed with gourmet kitchens, spacious master suites, comfortable living areas, and beautiful fireplaces. The houses will also feature the latest energy efficiencies such as spray foam insulation, CFL lighting, and ENERGY STAR appliances. Stonehaven will range from 2,000 to 4,000 square feet and will be priced from the low $300s to the mid $400s.

Meritage will be joining Highland Homes, American Legend Homes, Grand Homes and Reflection Homes as well as the community’s custom builders Belclaire Homes, Sanders Custom Homes, Southgate Homes, and M. Christopher Homes.

Meritage will break ground on the lots in January with models expected to open in early 2015.
