Up, Up & Away! Festival of Flight

Update – Now on Saturday, May 20th. The Up, Up & Away! Festival of Flight presented by The Tribute Lakeside Golf and Resort Community and the city of The Colony returns for a third year. Celebrating all forms of flight, the festival will feature the following activities:

Public Kite Flying (bring your own, or kites available for purchase)
Cosmic Tunnel
Frontier Flyer from the Frontiers of Flight Museum
Wind Tunnel Testing Program from the CR Smith Museum
Hot Air Balloon Craft Project
Temporary Tattoos by The Tributeens
Paper Airplane Making/Contests
Bubble Wand Giveaway with Bubble Station Locations
Bricks 4 Kids
Music/Performances on the Main Stage
Prestwick STEM Academy Art Show
North Texas RC Club
Drone Demonstrations
Food Trucks and Sno Cones (featuring The Egg Stand and Oh My Kabob)
Drinks & Movie Concessions for sale by the Prestwick STEM Academy PTA

4:00 pm Wright Brothers! Celebrating the Beginning of Flight (4th/5th grade choir from Prestwick STEM Academy)
5:00 pm Essential Elements (6th grade beginner band from Prestwick STEM Academy)
6:00 pm Miss Aimee Balloons & Entertainment
7:00 pm Pink Couch Studios Performances
8:15 pm Outdoor screening of the movie “Storks” (bring blankets/lawn chairs for viewing)
